Job Description:
This role is designed to build and maintain strong business relationships in order to achieve revenue targets within the Region. The role is responsible for the development and execution of key account plans.
Under the guidance and direction of the Executive Director, Sales & Client Service, China:
Responsible for identifying opportunities and potential clients and building relationships with these potential clients.
Ensures the implementation of the Sales & Client Service business goals for the Region, including the achievement of revenue targets.
Prepares business plans, reports and forecasts for the Sales & Client Service for the Region
In consultation with the Executive Director, Sales & Client Service, China, develops realistic budgets and closely monitors actual performance against forecast. Takes appropriate action to meet targets.
Responsible for continuous improvement of client satisfaction by providing superior servicing levels.
To work across organizational boundaries in order to meet our clients' information needs.
Qualification Required:
Degree or higher (preferably Business/Marketing/Communication.
5+ years client servicing experience or 3+ Sales experience
Familiarity with media industry & marketing / branding/ advertising/ consumer issues and insights
Familiar with Media market – experience preferred in an advertising agency, media, research or marketing organization.
Ideally has local knowledge of the Region and its Media market/clients.
Strong ability & passion for sales.
Excellent ability in managing client relationship, to achieve positive & stable relationships.
Excellent negotiating ability & skills.
Good presentation skills.
Good communication skills: both externally with clients and internally with colleagues to achieve planned results.
Familiar with market research methods and data analysis - able to use personal experience and understanding of the market extract relevant insights for clients.
Ability to work in a team and contribute to a positive team spirit.
Results-driven, with an ability to plan & implement - an energetic individual with a sense of urgency
Displays initiative and a self-motivated work attitude
Self starter and ability to work unsupervised
