Position: PE
Responsibilities:
1.Complete the design of components using appropriate design principles and standards
Using 3D solids CADD and other analysis tools as appropriate.
2.Ensures the completion of all additional activities including the testing, costing, evaluating and liaison with Manufacturing Engineering to ensure manufacturability.
3.Works with CADD personnel to ensure Engineering drawings are prepared on-time and meet drafting and company standards.
4.Maintains current specifications and project records for the product and components according to the company’s Standards and regulatory requirements.
5.Liaises with approval agencies to obtain certification and regulatory requirements as needed.
6.Reviews product Change requests and determine response and action required.
7.Provides technical support for product, as required from plant, other departments and customers.
8.Researches current technologies re current and future use and application and provide
9.direction to new product development and marketing direction.
Qualifications:
1.Experience with 3D CAD systems-Solid Works preferable.
2.Undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
3.Minimum 3 years experience in combustion, heat transfer design and technology application
4.Previous experience in bringing product designs to production
5.Experience with project management tools and software
6.Eligible for membership in a Association of professional Engineers
